Winter Activities
"Winter
Activities" are activities that are held once a week for part of the
afternoon.
The next Winter Activities session is on Friday, February 12, 2010. The final Winter Activity session will be held on Friday, February 26 (no Winter Activities on Friday, February 19).
 Spirit Week
Spirit Week Monday, February 8 to Thursday, February 11
- Monday - Crazy Print Day (Plaids, stripes, checks and polka dots - wear them all at once! Don't forget the bright colours!)
- Tuesday - Old Fashioned Day (1990's to settlers, it's all old-fashioned now!)
- Wednesday - Nerd Day (High-waisted "floods", taped glasses, pocket protectors - nerds are cool!)
- Thursday - Pajama Day (Bath robes, pajamas, stuffies and slippers - get comfy!)
Just make sure that whatever you wear is appropriate to wear at school.
Valentines Carnival
A Valentines Carnival will be held on Thursday, February 11th in the afternoon. Each grade group will have an opportunity to play a variety of fun games in the gym to win treats and prizes.
Pizza Lunch
A pizza lunch has been organized for Thursday, February 11, 2010. No late orders will be accepted.
Louis Riel Day
Schools will be closed on Monday, February 15, 2010 for Louis Riel Day in Manitoba.
Canteen
A variety of granola bars are available in the canteen (located behind the roll-up window in the gym) at 12:00 noon for $1.00.
Milk is also available - see the information below for purchase options.
Milk Program
Chocolate
and white milk in 250 mL cartons is available at noon each
school day at a cost of $1.00 each.
Milk
cards can be purchased from the canteen or from Mrs. Peters at a cost
of $20. Each card entitles the holder to 22 milks. The card gets a
hole punched in it each time a milk is "purchased".
