Rinks at West Park School
 
With the warm weather, the skating rinks at West Park have taken a beating.  To help protect the lawn and what ice is left community members are asked to keep off of the ice surfaces entirely (no boots, bikes or skates please).  Thank you for your help.





March 3-Way Conferences
 
Conferences will be held the evening of Thursday, March 18 and during the day on Friday, March 19.  Notice of the conference time will be included in the report card envelope.
 
 
WPSAC Wildcat Market
 
During the conferences on March 18 and 19, a number of local home product suppliers/consultants will be in the West Park school gym along with a WPSAC bake sale. 
 
A percentage of the sales will be donated to the West Park School Advisory Council..





Science Olympics
 
The 2010 West Park School Science Olympics will be held on Friday, March 26.  See the February 26th newsletter for more details.





West Park Advisory Council Quiz Night
 
This year's Quiz Night fundraiser is planned for Friday, April 9, 2010.
Theme - Luau - prize for the best-dressed team!
 
Supper at 6:00 p.m.
Games start at 7:00 p.m.
$100 per team of 8

A note was sent home with students on Tuesday, March 9 with information and a request for volunteers to help at this fundraising event.





  Canteen
 
A variety of granola bars are available in the canteen (located behind the roll-up window in the gym) at 12:00 noon for $1.00.
Milk is also available - see the information below for purchase options.
 
 
Milk Program

Chocolate and white milk in 250 mL cartons is available at noon each school day at a cost of $1.00 each. 
 
Milk cards can be purchased from the canteen or from Mrs. Peters at a cost of $20.  Each card entitles the holder to 22 milks.  The card gets a hole punched in it each time a milk is "purchased".
